Our client is a highly regarded boutique mining consultancy firm, capable of delivering strong commercial outcomes to owners and sponsors of power and mineral projects. They have experienced exciting growth within their company and are now looking for an enthusiastic Administration Assistant to join their close-knit team in a newly created role.
Focused on supporting the project team with a diverse range of duties, this role will be pivotal in creating administrative efficiency as the business continues to grow. This position would suit a junior Administrator looking to broaden their skills, or an entry level, enthusiastic individual - keen to kick start their career. The successful applicant will be supported with hands on training and development and the opportunity to further develop their administrative and project skill set.
The Role:
Working from their Perth office in the heart of the CBD, this role will be offered on a permanent full-time basis.
- Coordinate the administration function for the project team
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Meet and greet all visitors and setup of external meetings
- Coordinate/action all building management issues
- Monitor and maintain all staff amenities and office/kitchen supplies
- Assist in the preparation and coordination of meetings
- Assist with up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, meeting minutes and general document control
- Support the implementation of quality assurance processes to ensure project deliverables meet established standards
- Assist in monitoring project budgets and expenses
- Facilitate mobilisation and de-mobilisation from site
- Preparation and management of travel arrangements
- Assistance with tracking industry events/conferences
- Assist with producing, formatting and finalising any tenders, grants, reports, presentations and proposals
Requirements:
- 1 year + of administration or relevant experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Impeccable organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Self-motivated and able to prioritise and plan work activities to ensure all deadlines are met efficiently and with high quality
- A team player with a can-do attitude, showing flexibility in supporting the team
- Experience in Microsoft Office Software, including WORD, EXCEL and OUTLOOK
