BEC Engineering is a well-established and respected Electrical, Power and Control System Engineering firm located in West Perth
As part of our continued growth, we are looking for an Administration Assistant / Office Administrator to join our team.
About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive person who is flexible and can work across a variety of tasks with multiple priorities.
Working closely with the senior management team, duties and responsibilities will include:
- Procurement, invoicing and basic financial administration including accounts payable & accounts receivable.
- Data entry and updating of information on the project management platform.
- Provide general marketing, quality assurance and project support to our engineering teams when necessary.
- General office tasks to help ensure the smooth running of the office.
- Develop and update relevant administrative processes and procedures where required.
- General reception duties.
Required Skills
- Bookkeeping and accounts management with familiarity of Xero or other bookkeeping packages.
- High level of comfort learning and using project management or business software packages.
- Responsive with a demonstrable positive can-do attitude.
- Ability to plan tasks and prioritise daily demands.
- Strong interpersonal and oral/written communication skills with the ability to relate well and cooperate with people at all levels.
- Excellent skills in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Qualifications in business administration - Cert IV or Diploma would be highly regarded.
