My client, who are based in the South-East suburbs of Perth specialise in providing underground pipeline maintenance to a variety of clients within the civil sector.
This service-based business are highly reactive and respond quickly to their clients needs. They are the ones that are called when your average Plumber cannot do the work that is needed!
They are currently seeking an experienced Office Allrounder / Administrator who will be the company’s first point of contact for all their customers and clients.
The Role:
Working alongside 10 others in the business, this role will see you responsible for the following:
- Performing reception duties; answering and directing phone calls, greeting people coming in for appointments,
- Once trained, scheduling work and completing quotes (template-based)
- Assisting with tender preparation and submissions in due course
- Preparing paperwork for new employees including booking courses, arranging PPE and equipment
- Social media posting, marketing and mail-outs
- Maintaining and updating registers and training matrix
- Administration functions; data entry, creating spreadsheet in Excel, email correspondence
- Invoicing and purchasing via MYOB
To be successful in the role you will need to demonstrate the following:
- Strong computer skills, proficient in WORD and EXCEL (MS Office) MYOB experience is also a bonus
- Be a permanent resident of Australia with full working rights and able to commit to full-time hours
- Be highly organised and able to prioritise workloads (this involves switching your focus from task-to-task without getting flustered)
- Be able to actively listen and effectively communicate with others in a polite and professional manner and provide solution-based outcomes
- Hours – Mon to Fri 9am-5pm or 8am-4pm (Flexible)
- Salary of approx. $70k + super (Negotiable upon experience)
- Full-time permanent position with sick pay and annual leave entitlements
