Alinta Apparel is a bespoke school uniform and sports clothing manufacturer and retailer who currently have an exciting opportunity to welcome a Junior Administration Assistant to the team.
Due to company growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic, well presented and self-motivated individual to learn and grow within an Administration Assistant role. This is an opportunity to gain on-job training and skills while completing a nationally-recognised qualification (Certificate III in Business). This position would suit a recent school leaver looking to forge a career in Business Administration.
In this varied role, you will be working closely with our close-knit administration team focusing on accounts, customer service, retail operations and general administration.
Responsibilities will include:
- Answering phones
- General data entry, including entering orders
- General upkeep of our office
- Maintaining office supplies and office equipment
- Copying, scanning and filing of documents
- Assisting the existing team members with daily administrative requirements and functions
- Accounting functions such as entering invoices
- Occasional warehouse assistance when required
- Adhoc errands as directed by management
- Computer literacy (PC/Windows based)
- The ability to multitask
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Confident telephone manner
- Reliability and maturity
- A willingness to learn and be a team player
- A genuine desire to forge a career in administration and accounts
- Flexible and adaptable nature
- Drivers licence and own reliable transport (desirable)
