Administration Assistant - Veteran Centre
Our Veteran Centre is looking for a part time Administration Assistant to support the team in the wide range of programs and services offered to the Veteran community.
The Veteran Centre is a dynamic environment which is run by a dedicated group of employees and volunteers.
Duties include:
- Scanning and filing paperwork
- Maintaining CRM
- Liaising with community service providers
- Assisting in governmental document preparation
- Providing support with Veterans welfare
- Assisting with event and program logistics
- Reporting and follow-up on outstanding matters
- General administration duties and office support
- Assisting team members as required
Skills and Experience
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and time management skills
- Professional level computer skills
- Experience in developing policies and procedures
- Accurate cash handling skills
