The Position

To continue the success of our dealership, we are seeking an enthusiastic Administration Clerk who will bring a high level of service to join our state of art facility.  This role is a full time, 12-month fixed term parental leave coverage role. It is perfect for a someone who has worked in a similar environment providing administrative and clerical support to Accountants and Department managers. 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • On receiving New Passenger/Van deal files after delivery ensure all paperwork is accurate and has been completed correctly 
  • Process New Passenger and Van deal files in a timely manner 
  • Update New Passenger/Van Orders & Delivery spreadsheets with the gross/loss once deal processed
  • Process Floorplan payments and contras from New Van deliveries
  • Complete transfer of trade-in registrations & process cancellations as per DP request and record transactions on daily registration spreadsheet 
  • Re-register Demonstrator vehicles for MB Adelaide and MB Unley and record transactions on daily registration spreadsheet 
  • Manage internal courier runs ensure correct procedures are followed and all related tasks
  • Manage the administrative aspect of the payroll timesheets process
  • Create and Maintain New Passenger/Vans Sales Logs and spreadsheets 
  • Reconcile RCTI’s and process all General journals as required 
  • Process floorplan reconciliation and Monthly reconciliations as required by the Accountants 

Skills and Experience

  • Knowledge of the automotive industry including experience with ERA would be advantageous
  • Advanced computer skills 
  • Professionally presented
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when required
  • Ability to prioritise your workload and multitask
  • Sound time management and attention to detail
