About Bundaberg Private Day Hospital:
Bundaberg Private Day Hospital is a purpose-built day surgery with excellent facilities, specialising in Ophthalmology, Gastroenterology, Plastics, Vascular and General surgery. Our hospital has two operating theatres, a procedure room and a PACU

About the role:
A wonderful opportunity is currently available for an experienced Administration Manager/ Personal Assistant who will be working collaboratively with the General Manager/ Director of Nursing and lead our dynamic Administrative team.
This role will see you working with the multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs. Imperative to your success in this role will be delivering exceptional administrative outcomes.
The days/hours are flexible and we are looking to offer Permanent Part Time to the right candidate.
This a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Administration leader who would like to grow with additional responsibilities, who will bring a positive and supportive influence to a dynamic team.
About you:
You have a genuine passion for providing world-class patient care and adding value to Australian healthcare.
You will have:
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills
- Previous experience in a short-stay, day surgery or hospital environment
- Experience working with Patient Administration Software (preferably SimDay)
- Demonstrated commercial acumen
- Excellent computer skills (MS Office package)
- Knowledge of health fund contracting system and the Private Health Care System
- Sound knowledge of medical terminology
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team environment
- Demonstrated experience mentoring and leading others
- Have strong problem solving and conflict management skills
- Solid time management, organisational and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task with high attention to detail
- Exceptional customer service skills with passion for the patient experience
