Jewish Care Victoria, is a not-for-profit organisation and is one of the largest providers of aged and community services for the Jewish Community in Victoria and has been servicing the community for 175 years. Our staff come from all cultural and religious backgrounds, and we provide cultural and spiritual training in the Jewish Ethos.
About you
You are a friendly and compassionate person who has a strong focus on providing exceptional customer service skills to the residents, families, friends and community members visiting the facility. You’re passionate to positively impact our residents' lives by aiding and supporting with services that are in line with their needs. You will be a part of a vibrant, dedicated and community orientated team that unites for the common goal of caring for our residents.
Your key responsibilities:
- Key focus on staff rostering management and payroll record management
- Prepare, update and maintain client files and information systems to ensure all information and documentation is on hand and accurate
- Concierge, welcoming residents, families, friends and community members
- Being the first point of contact for enquiries
- Complaint management
- Manage and deliver staff site orientation
- Work closely with the stakeholders to support our clients and staff
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A supportive, patient, understanding and respectful approach towards older people
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in administration/customer service roles and rostering experience ideally in a medical or aged care organisation (desirable if you have experience with Payglobal & Emprevo)
- Demonstrate customer service competencies, ideally in face to face contexts
- Demonstrate highly developed time management skills including the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Qualification in Business Administration or similar would be beneficial
- MS Office proficiency, excellent typing and word processing skills
