An opportunity has become available for an office all-rounder with a strong customer focus to join our team.
This is a permanent full-time position, however we are flexible if the successful applicant requires hours which work with children school drop off and pick up.
About the Position
In this position the individual will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day financial duties, maintaining cash controls and all other office operations and is the primary provider of customer support.
Responsibilities & Duties including but not limited to:
- Converse with customers to obtain accurate information and provide appropriate solutions in a timely manner;
- Assist with the implementation of customer policies and procedures;
- Ensure correct data entry into the accounting system including: customer quotes, customer orders, customer invoices, customer payments;
- Ensure the safeguarding of all business funds including: Day to day financial processing of customer payments and credit card reconciliation;
- Completing project work as directed by managers/owners.
The position requires you to demonstrate the following skills:
- High level of communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
- Time Management Skills
- Computer Skills including the ability to use Microsoft Office & navigate accounting systems
- Decision Making Skills
- Quoting
- Experience using Adobe Illustrator would be an advantage but not a requirement
