The Company
G.O. Shelving is the largest and most reputable provider of 'Total Storage Solutions' in South Australia and, one of the largest in Australia. Well established for over 38 years, G.O. Shelving have been responsible for the majority of the largest pallet racking and storage system projects in South Australia.
The Role
As a valuable member of the Team, you will:
- Process information in relation to enquiries, quotations and orders
- Process sales and purchase orders in our system
- Be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external customers & suppliers
- Work closely with the other members of the Sales, Marketing and Operations Teams to ensure that customers requirements are met
- Help identify process improvement opportunities
This role will coordinate the following business functions:
- Order Processing & Stock Control
- Invoicing
- Site Inductions and project/job documentation
- WHS as required
To be successful in this role, you will need to be eager to learn, positive, a team player and disciplined in your approach to the administration process……..and want to have fun
Skills and Experience:
- Experienced in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
- The ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- High level of attention to detail
- Organised in your approach
- Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to interpret orders/quotations, including some drawings/site plans and convert into components lists will be considered an advantage. Training will be provided.
- Procurement knowledge and negotiation skills are desirable
- Ability to work autonomously but most importantly, as part of a team
- Current South Australian drivers licence essential
