Wudinna District Council is seeking an enthusiastic and professional person for the position of Finance Administration Officer on a 3-year fixed term contract basis.
The role will work collaboratively undertaking a broad range of duties to assist the Finance Manager and senior staff. Applicants must exhibit a professional attitude and approach to communication and have a demonstrated ability to determine priorities and meet deadlines.
The successful applicant will have a high level of computer literacy, attention to detail and strong organisational skills. Prior financial experience is not essential as on-the-job training will be provided, however applicants with prior experience in payroll, creditors or financial processes are encouraged to apply. Exceptional customer service skills and knowledge of general office procedures including clerical, data input and equipment use is expected.
Working within a small team you will be expected to be a collaborative team player with a can-do attitude and friendly, yet professional, disposition.
Salary & Conditions: This position will ideally be full-time, however some flexibility with working hours may be offered to the right candidate. Salary will be based upon the SA Municipal Salaried Officers Award Level 2.1 – 2.4 plus Council’s Enterprise Bargaining Agreement.
