WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
As a Finance & Administration Officer, you will play a key role in processing, maintaining, and managing the business's financial and administrative functions. You will work closely with the Finance & Administration Manager, internal operational departments, and external consultants. The role will require you to identify improvement opportunities and ways in which we can improve our processes and gain efficiencies. It will be the responsibility of the successful candidate will ensure the efficient operation and optimisation of financial and administrative procedures to best support the business. The role demands a combination of technical expertise, high level of accuracy, attention to detail, compliance with regulations, and effective communication skills both written and verbal.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

- This role is varied across the whole business, with 2 locations at Mile End. You will be expected to assist the Finance and Administration Manger in the following areas:
- Payroll - processing & managing
- Accounts payable and receivable - processing & managing
- Cash management - review & prepare
- Reporting - prepare drafts.
- A solid understanding of Compliance - prepare, maintain, and reconcile.
- Highly motivated and possess excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
- Be passionate about continuous improvement and further development of a strong compliance culture.
- You will have an analytical mind and excellent problem-solving skills and establish solutions for its implementation and fast adaption.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and deliver outstanding results.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- A solid background to be able to support General administration - across both sites.
- Desirable to have experience in personnel management / HR administration - coordination of onboarding and maintaining records.
Essential requirements
- Be an AUSTRALIAN citizen (non-citizens are unable to be considered due to the nature of our work)
- Be eligible and willing to obtain an Australian Government security clearance and retain that clearance while employed by Ebor Systems
- Live in South Australia or willing to relocate
- Strong computer skills and knowledge in MYOB AR and Microsoft Office suite; particularly Excel and Outlook
- Previous experience in payroll, accounting, and/or practice management
Desirable requirements
- Diploma or related qualification in accounting or finance
