Gold Coast Employment Support Service Inc (GCESS) provides specialised employment services to people with disabilities or barriers, to help them gain and retain employment. Established in 1992, GCESS is a not for profit organisation, dedicated to providing a superior support service that is responsive to the needs of both the service recipient and employer.
About the role:
We currently have an opportunity for an Administration Officer to join our organisation here at GCESS. This position is to provide administration support services as part of the administration team. The role of the Administrative Officer is primarily to provide support services to the administrative functioning of the GCESS office, financial records and systems. This role effectively and efficiently maintains a range of administrative functions and systems.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience:-
- The successful candidate will work at our Head Office at Arundel.
- A high level of administrative duties including administration support to the Manager and GCESS staff
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, reception duties and answering and direction of all incoming calls
- Accounts payable, bank reconciliations and maintain Petty Cash
- Maintain and manage all office equipment for all GCESS offices
- Strong administration skills with solid computer skills with the ability to learn new systems
- Maintain personnel and administrative records
- Current unrestricted Australian C Class drivers licence
- MUST have a reliable car
- MUST be fully vaccinated.
