Ryde Hospital is having an incredible $479 million complete hospital redevelopment that will transform the delivery of healthcare for the Ryde local community.
The Ryde Hospital Redevelopment will result in new health facilities and enhanced services including emergency, ICU/critical care, inpatient units, outpatient/Ambulatory Care services and much more.
Construction commenced in early 2023, and will provide you with a wonderful and exciting opportunity to be part of the Ryde team to change the future health services for the Ryde Community completely.
What you'll be doing
The Administration OfficerAmbulatory Care provides a comprehensive range of administration support and customer service functions to the staff and customers of Ryde Hospital under the direction of the Manager, Administration & Patient Services.
The incumbent will provide a professional, efficient service to the patients and clinical staff of the facility.
Functions include but not limited to, frontline reception duties including greeting patients and families on clinic day, conducting patient registration interviews to collect patient personal and demographic information held in the patient administration system, checking patients into outpatient clinics, post consultation administrative support including rebooking follow up appointments, taking phone messages, collecting payments for Medicare Ineligible patients, back of house administration support including patient billing, booking Interpreter Services, and organizing patient transport where required.
