About the Role:
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have exceptional organisational skills, strong communication, attention to detail and a professional work ethic to provide efficient and effective support to the RTO manager and broader school community.
As the VET administrator you will contribute to the efficient operations of the school administration and provide timely and quality administrative support to the RTO manager relating to but not limited to:
- Maintain student administration systems and oversee the day-to-day operations of enrolments, registrations and unit attainment
- Support RTO management activities, including; certificate and unique student identifier generation
- Maintain records and prepare correspondence
- Collect and collate student data pertaining to academic outcomes.
- Interpret and apply legislation, regulations, policies, guidelines, standards and procedures within an RTO and complex school environment.
To be successful in the role, you will have the following qualities:
- Highly motivated and proactive
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated initiative, compliance and time management skills to deliver on organisational priorities successfully.
- Previous experience in school administration is not essential
- A proactive attitude and rudimentary knowledge of vocational education and registered training organisation processes will be crucial to your success.
