About the role:
We have a rewarding opportunity for a dedicated individual to join our team as a Dermatology Administration Officer. As a key member, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dermatology department and ensuring the provision of quality care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to phone and email enquiries from patients and stakeholders professionally and efficiently.
Manage appointments for dermatology outpatient clinics, ensuring a smooth and organized schedule.
Register dermatology patients accurately in St. Vincent's Hospital Sydney (SVHS) Clinical Information and Patient Administration Systems (CIAPAS).
Complete all necessary administration processes for dermatology patients with attention to detail.
File clinical and other documentation as required, maintaining organized and accessible records.
Order department supplies, including stationary and clinical equipment, to support smooth operations.

Appointment and ongoing employment will be subject to continued compliance with this policy directive.

High level of oral and written communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to work individually and as part of a team in a busy work environment, whilst maintaining a high level of customer focus.
Excellent computer literacy with previous data entry experience and the Microsoft Office suite applications.
Demonstrated multitasking skills and ability to prioritise tasks in a demanding environment.
Ability to interview, support and liaise with patients presenting with a wide range of medical and surgical conditions.
