About the Westmead Catholic CommunityThe Westmead Catholic Community is a K-12 education precinct consisting of one primary school (Mother Teresa Primary) and two secondary schools (Catherine McAuley and Parramatta Marist).Applications are invited for a School Fees Officer to support the business and clerical requirements of the Westmead Catholic Community High Schools. This position is unaveraged (48 weeks per year).The School Fees Officer is accountable for:Facilitating the collection of School Fees;A wide range of professional support, administration, secretarial and clerical duties, including typing, word processing, data entry, maintaining email and computerised records, database information, Google applications;Undertaking reception and general office duties;Responding to enquiries from students, parents, employees, and the general public;Providing administrative support to school executive, including arranging appointments, diaries and preparing both confidential and general correspondence;Providing assistance in various financial management tasks, including preparation of school budget, School Fees, monthly reconciliation of finance accounts and GST reports, annual finance and administration rollover;Assisting with the coordination of school functions and events; andMaintaining school Assets Register.Ideal CandidateExperience in a school environment and/or Matthew experience would be highly advantageousGreat people skills, interpersonal and written communicationSolid administrative experience, either with the Microsoft Office suite or related Google Suite applications.Our ideal candidate will have a desire to bring their skills, not only to an organisation but a caring Catholic community with the intent to transform the learning of every student and enrich the professional lives of our staff.Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese provides quality learning and teaching in a faith-centred environment across 83 primary and secondary schools and within early learning and out of school hours care centres in Western Sydney.This position involves working with children.
