Admin / Secretarial / Office Support Administration Brisbane Contract Government Role - 6 Month Contract $44.49 Per hour Super Brisbane CBD Location APG is currently seeking an experienced Administration Officer for a 6 Month contract within a Brisbane Government Sector. Pay Rate: $44.49 p/h super 36.25 hours per week  Brisbane Location  Key accountabilities Process large quantities of paper commercial fishing logbook returns. This includes opening mail, sorting, date stamping, and scanning logbook returns into a database. Complete large quantities of data entry, using a variety of software applications, in an accurate and timely manner. Complete logbook data range checks on a weekly basis using report manager. Work effectively with other team members to problem solve and develop solutions. Uphold departmental code of conduct including privacy requirements and follow established standard operating procedures. Respond to logbook enquiries including providing support for the FishNet secure online platform. Function as an effective member of a small work team responsible for processing large volumes of fisheries data on an ongoing basis. Work with minimal supervision within a team environment, set realistic goals, establish priorities and meet deadlines. Communicate effectively in both written and oral forms, displaying sensitivity and understanding, diplomacy and discretion in dealing with the public and other staff members. Undertake other duties as required relating to the requirements of the operational area. Required Experience:  Experience in the provision of administrative and clerical support and the ability to provide best practice customer service. Experience with Microsoft Office products and TRIM Ability to work as part of a team in a high volume work environment. Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
