About the role:
A rewarding part time opportunity exists for an experienced Administration Officer to provide high quality professional reception and administrative support to our North West Tasmania Home Care Program. This is a 3-day per week position working Wednesday – Friday and based out of our Latrobe office. Using your exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, you will play a pivotal part of the delivery of our Home Care services.
In this role, you will:
Maintain client files and staff records
Greet clients, customers, staff, visitors, volunteers, and contractors
Ensure accurate data management and maintain compliance registers
Document control
Process invoices and accounts
Liaise with training providers to co-ordinate mandatory training
Manage and sorting the mail/post
Maintain office stationary
Site stationary and printing orders
Co-ordinate cleaning contractors and maintenance requests
Processing food and catering orders, kitchen supplies orders
Supporting staff with general IT queries and problem solving
About you:
You are passionate about what you do and want to make a difference in the lives of our residents enhancing their self-esteem and empowering them to make choices.

Certificate-level business qualifications or equivalent and/or experience in an administrative role
Preferable previous experience in an aged care or health environment
An understanding of the role is preferred
Proficiency in the Microsoft office suite as well as financial applications
Sound IT knowledge and ability to operate internal systems confidently
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Ability to effectively manage competing priorities
Thrive in a team and also appreciate the one to one interactions
