Patient Services are looking for an Administration Officer - Reliever to join their team. Working out of the QEII Jubilee Hospital, Coopers Plains; this role is responsible for providing a high standard of administrative support across departments (inclusive of Switchboard, Front Reception, Inpatient Wards, Outpatient areas, Endoscopy Unit, Executive Support roles and Perioperative Services).

About the Role

• Support the effective operation of the administration service by being responsive to changes in rostering and quickly adapting to workplace team dynamics.
• Provide a high level of administrative support to multidisciplinary teams as required including, but not limited to, word processing, and correspondence.
• Effectively communicate with clients and staff, demonstrating understanding, empathy, patience and a positive service focus whilst maintaining confidentiality.
• Ensure patients and other staff are treated fairly and with mutual respect and understanding, regardless of cultural, religious, ethnic and linguistic backgrounds, gender, identity, ages or abilities.
