You will have excellent organisational skills, exceptional attention to detail and solid IT skills to ensure the home’s administrative processes are streamlined and effective. You’ll have great interpersonal skills and enjoy being the first person to greet visitors, families and loved ones to the Home; and be a go-to person for general enquiries. A friendly sociable personality coupled with empathy and compassion for the elderly will make you a perfect fit for this client-centred “front of house” role. Some of your duties will include but not be limited to: Coordinate and assist manager with rostering Assisting with new admissions to the home Liaising with the Residential Manager when vacancies occur to ascertain type of Resident required Maintain relevant documentation (eg Resident lists) at the direction of the Residential Manager Liaising with residents and their families to support the transition into care from an administrative perspective Prepare records for new residents Maintenance of various computer data bases Reception duties – face to face and over the phone Processing of invoices in preparation for payment and maintenance of petty cash Maintaining staff personal records including registrations and certificates What you will bring to the role?
