We are seeking an Administration Support Officer to provide professional high quality support to our Operational Communications Department. This is a Full Time, Permanent position currently based in Burwood.
About the role
Reporting to the Director Communications Centre, responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Be the initial point of contact for Communication Centres teams, answer calls and provide responses to routine enquiries, as well as process messages for follow up action
- Provide high level Administration Support including coordinating information, preparing presentations and documentation, and preparing communications and reports as required
- Coordinate and collate monthly/quarterly operating reports, as well as compile ad-hoc statistical, financial, and analytical reports with given deadlines
- Foster constructive and effective working relationships across Operational Communications Centres and other internal/external stakeholders.
To be considered for this position you will possess:
- Certificate IV in Administration or Business (desirable)
- Demonstrated substantial experience and expertise in providing secretarial and administrative support within a large organisation or department
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications including Outlook, PowerPoint Word, and Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to confidently and professionally liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Attention to detail using appropriate checking processes to ensure information is recorded accurately.
