Wandin Valley Farms is one of the largest growers of premium cherries in Australia. We continue the proud tradition of cherry growing, which has been a part of the Sebire family since 1893. Our recently upgraded, state of the art packing and distribution facility is located in the picturesque Yarra Valley. With orchards located at Colignan near Mildura (North West Victoria), Boweya near Wangaratta (North East Victoria) and Rosegarland near Hobart (South Tasmania), Wandin Valley Farms is the only company specialising in growing premium fresh cherries on both mainland Australia and Tasmania.
Qualifications & experience
- The ideal applicant will have a sound knowledge of MYOB, Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word & Excel)
- Have experience in accounts
- A high level of organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Will possess excellent literacy, numeracy and communication skills
- Be able to work independently or within a team
Tasks & responsibilities
- Always represent Wandin Valley Farms in a professional manner, including outside communications, timeliness, and appearance.
- Enter Accounts Payable and reconcile monthly statements using MYOB.
- Process weekly payroll using Uattend and MYOB
- Maintain multiple email inboxes
- Maintain staff employment records
- Hiring and on-boarding of casual seasonal staff.
- Update company website & social media
- Reconciliation of corporate credit card statements.
- Ordering of company stationery and staff amenity supplies and general administrative tasks as required.
