ABOUT THE ROLEThis Auction Administrator/Receptionist position is open as part-time (5 d/pw) to full-time, permanent role located in Dandenong South/Melbourne.
Being an integral part of our Auctions team with a responsibility for assisting with all front-office and auction requests, this role provides accurate data entry and customer support.
This position invites candidates looking for an entry-level role, willing to learn on the job with mentoring provided. Candidates searching for Traineeship in Business & Administration or similar field are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring customer and visitor support at the front desk and provide professional and responsive customer service
- Working closely with the auction team, administering and delivering both accurate and timely reports
- Completing auction related administration, formatting, data entry and detailed customer file management
- Delivering administration support of sales and balance sheets, performing invoice data entry and reminders of payments
- Answering and directing calls, distribution of mail
- Close cooperation with our Marketing team on organising auction related ads and prints
- Ensuring site car registrations are up to date
- General office administration as directed by the Operations Manger
As our successful candidate, you will have:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Willingness to improve and further develop your office administration and clerical skills
- Ability to work to deadlines with a strong attention to the detail
- Basic Microsoft Office skills(Excel, Word, Outlook), data entry and document formatting
- Ability to follow instructions and willingness to learn
- Clear Police check
- Active Driver’s licence
To be eligible for a Traineeship, candidates must be holding a status of an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have full working rights.
