We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrative Officer to join our Allied Health team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the team and ensuring the efficient operation of the clinic. The role is a part time or full time contractor role.
Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct phone calls and emails in a professional and friendly manner
- Manage and maintain the schedule of appointments for team members using Halaxy software
- Prepare and distribute various documents and reports as required
- Assist with billing and insurance claims procedures using Halaxy software
- Keep the office organised and ensure that all necessary supplies are stocked
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred
- 2+ years of administrative experience in a healthcare setting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Halaxy software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Must be organised and have strong attention to detail
