Hays Office Support are proud to be partnering with VeriFire, a well-established SA-owned company providing service and installation of fire alarm systems for over 20 years.
VeriFire provide expertise required to deal with preventative maintenance, ongoing repairs, upgrades and emergency training, assisting their clients conform with all Australian Standards and Codes of Practices. They aim to provide products and services that both meet and exceed the needs of their customers.
Your new role
Your new role as administrator will work alongside a team of fire technicians/electricians who, on a daily basis complete maintenance and service requests that have been dispatched from the administration team. Reporting to the Office Manager, your duties will include:
- Answering phones, taking messages and following-up
- Responding to emails
- Entering orders into fire industry software, FireMate
- Invoicing all orders of major clients (accounts payable)
- Regular communication with customers
- Applying suppliers' invoices to work orders
- Filing of technical reports
- Proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Accuracy, efficiency and ability to prioritise
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Knowledge of MYOB will be highly regarded
- Knowledge of the fire industry and/or FireMate will be highly regarded
- Ability to commit to full time hours, Monday - Friday 8am - 4.30pm with an RDO a month
- This role requires 2 x COVID vaccinations and annual flu vaccinations
VeriFire are a small, passionate and supportive team offering the opportunity for you to broaden your administration experience in a multi-faceted role, in a highly specialised industry. They are offering a 12-14 month direct contract with on-site parking in Thebarton.
