Part Time Administrator
We have a rare opportunity for a full time administrator across our two locations at Currimundi and Forest Glen.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and organised administrator to join our team. This role plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice by managing administrative tasks efficiently and effectively and ensuring all patients receive the highest level of care and support throughout their journey with us. This role requires someone with initiative, the ability to multitask, attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a friendly nature.
This role will be between 20-30 hours a week.

We are driving change through developing the first Allied Health Rheumatology services on the Sunshine Coast, creating processes to support clients between consults and prioritising exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Scheduling and coordinating patient appointments.
Greet and assist patients during check-in, ensuring all necessary documentation is accurately completed.
Respond to patient inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions, delivering precise information and support.
Maintain patient records with strict adherence to confidentiality and privacy protocols.
Collaborate with insurance providers to process patient billing and claims promptly and accurately.
Liaise with referrers, and healthcare professionals to facilitate efficient patient care coordination.
Execute administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and inventory management to uphold clinic efficiency.
Support clinicians with administrative tasks as required to ensure smooth clinic operations.
Processing patient accounts, including Medicare, DVA, and other healthcare funds.
Conducting end-of-day reconciliation and banking tasks.
Undertaking other general office duties as required to support the smooth functioning of the clinic.
Key Requirements:
Previous experience in administration roles, delivering exceptional customer service, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and a professional phone manner.
Proficiency in computer literacy and willingness to learn new software and systems.
Proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to take initiative.
Enthusiastic and positive attitude, with a willingness to contribute to a fun and supportive team environment.
