ALG Talent has a great opportunity for an Accounting Administrative Assistant to join a well-established organisation based at Tullamarine Airport. This is a causal ongoing contract offering 5 days per week with the potential for permanency should you excel in the role. You'll enjoy a day roster spread out between Monday to Friday, allowing for a great work-life balance.
As an Accounting Administrative Assistant you will bring previous administration/accounts experience in an aviation, engineering or construction environment. Additionally, you will be comfortable with completing duties relating to accounting (payable/receivable) activities (some training provided). This role is perfect for someone who is looking for a rewarding work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Raising and closing off scheduled and unscheduled jobs.
- Assisting in coordinating spare parts.
- Assisting in maintaining stock control of tools and equipment.
- General administrative duties.
- Process invoices and payments in accordance with company policies.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience with Accounts Payable/Receivable.
- Previous experience working in a similar role.
- Previous experience in aviation and or logistics environment.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
- Strong computer skills.
