As the Accounts Receivable Officer, you will be responsible for working with assigned accounts, ensuring the correct invoicing and follow up of receivable accounts in order to achieve accepted invoicing issuance times and approval times where applicable (in accordance with KPI's and targets). You will also be required to produce invoices both paper and electronic, and reports as required.

The role:
Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Supervisor, you will be required to:
- Prepare and complete multiple billing runs per month using our in-house system to ensure all relevant back up documentation provided to customer when necessary
- Daily allocation of funds received to the relevant account and invoice as per the remittances received
- Handling inquiries from internal staff and customers
- Reconciliation of customer accounts
- Ad-hoc processing of manual invoices and actioning requests from internal and external stakeholders
The successful applicant will possess:
- Computer literacy in relation to use of computer-based accounting and operational systems, use of spreadsheets and word processing software
- Advanced excel knowledge including Pivot tables is preferred
- High attention to detail
- Ability to communicate well
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
