Our client is a well-established medium sized national manufacturing Company that supplies a range of steel building product and accessories (residential, commercial, industrial) into the marketplace. Providing tailored solutions to their customers and committed to delivering a quality range of made to order products, the company focuses on ensuring they meet their customer expectations by providing an exceptional service. Location: South West of Brisbane.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, your role will include:
- Ensuring staff safety and equipment databases are up to date.
- Ensure all compliance documentation is maintained regularly and up to date.
- Follow up Supervisors to ensure the completion of staff induction, SOP and safety audits and administration
- Book equipment compliance servicing and staff training requirements with appropriate service providers
- Prepare and display safety messaging on behalf of operations.
- Monitor safety systems and report to supervisors any non-compliance or missing information.
- General administration & coordination of matters relating to safety administration and operations in the business.
Ideally, you will have a proven background in administration (5+ years) – having ideally worked in a manufacturing / industrial environment providing administration support to Operations including transport & distribution / Logistics OR You may have a compliance administration background in safety or general administration or operations and can demonstrate:
- Strong general administration skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to multitask and complete tasks on time
- Great co-ordination skills with the ability to liaise with a range of supervisors and managers in a business to manage information, data input and updating of systems (online or otherwise)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong IT skills
- Excellent time management skills
