Job Title: HSE Coordinator / HSE Administrator

We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven individual who is eager to advance their career in HSE, to provide essential support and contribute to the overall safety culture within our organisation.

Primary Role: The primary role will involve providing support for HSE-related work, reporting directly to HSE Manager. This position is perfect for someone who is looking to move up in their career and take on more responsibilities within the HSE domain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of HSE reports and documentation.
  • Support the HSE team in maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Assist with Contractor Management
  • Assist with tender preparation surrounding safety compliance and KPI’s
  • Facilitate communication and coordination within the HSE team and other departments.
  • Participate in HSE meetings and contribute ideas and feedback.
  • Provide administrative support for HSE activities, including documentation and record-keeping.

Requirements:

  • A developing knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations, standards and best practice.
  • A strong attention to detail as well as good writing, literacy, numeracy, and comprehension skills.
  • Proficient knowledge of the Microsoft Office package, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges.
  • Ability to express opinions and contribute to discussions.
  • Solid work history demonstrating reliability and commitment.
  • Previous experience in a HSE role preferably in industry such as Oil and Gas, Mining or Transport (preferred).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety or higher.
  • Other qualifications such as ICAM,  or Training and Assessment are favourable
