About The CompanyOur client is an independent, locally owned and operated Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, and Electrical business in Mackay and Hamilton Island. For almost 18 years, they have been offering and implementing climate control & electrical solutions for residential, commercial, and construction customers throughout Mackay and The Whitsundays. They specialise in all aspects of Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, and electrical work, including product supply, design, installation, repairs & maintenance.
About The OpportunityDue to business growth, our client is now looking for an experienced, friendly and motivated Administrator to join their office team in Mackay. This role will also include looking after their Hamilton Island branch and there will be opportunities to travel there to visit for team building and client liaison throughout the year.
Some of your responsibilities will include:- Liaising with clients and suppliers
- Organising and scheduling the tradespeople
- Invoicing and quoting jobs
- General administration duties
- Working as part of a dynamic team
About YouThe ideal candidate will have:- 2+ years of experience in a similar administration role
- Experience in the trades or air-conditioning industry (highly desirable)
- Strong computer skills using the MS Suite
- Experience using Simpro or ServiceM8 (desirable)
- Reliable vehicle and driver's licence
You will also have:- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of professionalism
- The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn
