The Administrator Learning and Development vacancy will provide you with an insight into the Learning and Development Team and may be the next step in your career.Based in Ballarat (District 15), this is full time ongoing opportunity. You will be reporting to the Lead, Learning & Development and your days will see you work closely with the Volunteers and the Learning & Development Coordinators focusing on coordinating administration tasks for all Learning & Development activities within the region. Overall, you will contribute to the delivery of Learning and training programs to enhance brigade capability.A day in the life of the Administrator Learning and Development will consist of:
- Coordinating all administrative requirements including support to meetings, including agenda preparation, venue coordination and catering
- Providing administrative support for the preparation of high-quality documentation, data and training material
- Providing administrative support to database and systems management
- Contributing to the coordination of training instructor and training course scheduling
- Managing communication and correspondence to support the Frontline Learning & Development team
- Developing and maintaining professional relationships with internal and external clients
- Analytical skills, including demonstrated ability to scope and implement new Learning and Development initiatives, processes and systems.
- Relevant administration skills and experience. Ability to draft standard documents, correspondence and reports to a professional standard.
- Demonstrated attention to detail, thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing a task
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to build good working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Ability to work proactively, with minimal supervision and direction.
- Ability to work effectively as a member of a team.
- Excellent computer literacy skills (including MS Office and databases), with knowledge of financial systems an advantage.
