The opportunity
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrator - Site Training to support our Training and HR team based at Cape Preston. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a range of administrative and coordination tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of our training and compliance activities.
This role is offered on a maximum term 12month contract basis on a 8/6 roster, FIFO from Perth to our site.
In this role you’ll be responsible for but not limited too;
Coordination with Corporate Office: Work with colleagues in the Perth office to organise purchase orders, vendor payments, credit card reconciliations, flight and accommodation requirements.
- Diary Management: Administer diaries for Compliance Advisors to ensure timely completion of Verification of Competency (VoC) requests. Upload relevant documents to the Learning Management System after courses or VoC's.
- Training Support: Assist Compliance Trainers in preparing the Training Centre and course materials. Order and maintain necessary equipment for high-quality training courses.
- Administrative Support: Assist the Learning Design team with administrative tasks and minor course updates.
- Inbox management: Manage the Training department inbox and respond to queries promptly. Provide various high-level administrative services such as word processing, data entry, and document control. Liaise with business areas regarding training queries via face-to-face interactions, phone calls, and emails.
- Meeting and Event Support: Schedule, coordinate, and support meetings and events, including venue selection and travel arrangements.
- Project and Contractor Support: Provide project support and coordinate the mobilisation of contractors.
To be successful in the role you will have the following skills and experience;
- 2+ years’ demonstrated experience in a similar administration role, ideally within the corporate services environment in an adult learning or training organisation or mining/construction industry
- Knowledge of the Australia Quality Framework, VET Sector plus L&D best practice
- Competent in Microsoft office suite (365 skills), SAP and LMS experience preferred.
- A current WA Manual Drivers licence is essential.
