Position DetailsContinuing Position | Full-TimeHigher Education Officer Level 6 | $86,737 - $92,481 p.a.Location: Bedford Park / Kaurna CountryStudent Administration ServicesStudent Administration Services operates under a university wide matrix services model. SAS teams are integrated within each of the six colleges, along with the front-end student service hub (Flinders Connect) and university-wide administration services to provide support across the student lifecycle, from admissions through to graduations.The suite of services that the SAS unit delivers are crucial to the student experience. These services act as the scaffold around the learning experience. In a world of increasing choices and options for students, service excellence is non-negotiable. We make administration fun!About the RoleFlinders University is seeking a motivated and dynamic Admissions Officer to join the domestic admissions team. As the Admissions Officer you will be responsible for administrative operations that facilitate the admission of domestic students to foundation, undergraduate and postgraduate courses.Working collaboratively in a supportive and vibrant team, you will assist with the development and coordination of domestic student admissions procedures and with a large scale of complex admissions functions that align with University policy, agreements, and relevant legislation. In this role, you will provide high quality student-centred customer service and support to key internal and external stakeholders, including SATAC, industry and other educational partners.You will also be required to:Contribute to the continuous improvement of customer service and business processes.Provide day to day functional supervision to staff responsible for a range of admission related services.Independently process and assess applications from domestic applicants received via SATAC and directly to the university.About YouAs the successful Admissions Officer, you will be required to learn and adapt within a fast-paced environment. You will have excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, allowing you to prioritise tasks to meet tight deadlines.
