As a Advance Application Engineer, your role will encompass diverse responsibilities in project execution across various process industries, spanning both onshore and offshore environments. Your expertise will be applied to applications such as DCOM, COM, OPC (HDA / DA / A&E / UA), Dashboard, Process Historian (OSI PI / Aspen IP21 / PHD etc.), APM, CPM, and Alarm Management software tools. Collaborating with project teams and working independently as needed, you'll interpret project requirements and execute functional design specifications. Your commitment includes delivering project tasks within established schedules, leveraging your implementation skills to work autonomously on different projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensures project execution according to functional design specification.
- Meet each project milestones.
- Participate in contributing total of conceptual, functional & detailed design specifications under supervision
- Executes implementation work assignments to appropriate standards and quality systems
- Report progress and technical problems to project and engineering supervisor
- Pro-actively identifies potential quality and efficiency improvements within assigned work
- Complies with all processes, tools, and methodologies
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Minimum bachelor's degree in either Chemical / Software Engineering, Computer Science/Information System/Technology, or other related degrees.
- Should have conceptual understanding of COM / DCOM
- Should be well versed with communication protocols like OPC, ODBC, Modbus, Serial, Ethernet etc.
- Should understand databases applications like MSSQL/Oracle.
- Basic VB, Java, Python, and .NET Scripting will be an added advantage.
- Prior experience with dashboard solutions such as Power BI and Tableau will also be advantageous.
