Overview
In this pivotal management position, you will provide support to the Executive Director of Nursing and Midwifery and the Executive Officers/Director of Nursing and Midwifery within the Limestone Coast Local Health Network. You will contribute to the Nurse Practitioner Project, overseeing and advising on corporate management and systems services. This will include the provision of support services including staffing methodologies, evidence-based practice, recruitment and selection, accreditation and risk management processes and information systems management. This is a great opportunity to participate in a project of significant scope and complexity, encompassing models of care development and major systems changes. You will need to be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, and hold or be eligible to hold a current practicing certificate. Demonstrating extensive experience in managing and leading complex projects in the health care industry, you will be confident in participating in and contributing to key decision making processes at a senior level. Your strong communication, problem solving and negotiation skills will equip you to liaise effectively with large numbers of staff from various multidisciplinary backgrounds.
