We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Advertising Executive to join our Perth Advertising team on a full-time basis. The role is responsible for developing advertising solutions across both print and digital assets whilst working closely with the travel industry.
About the Role
- Product Managing the Travel lift outs in The West Australian & The Sunday Times
- Developing new opportunities to grow business revenue through interaction with existing clients
- Seeking out a deep understanding of clients’ needs in order to create a targeted advertising strategy
- Working alongside an established sales team to achieve measurable results and exceed monthly sales targets
- Creating high quality advertising sales proposals and strategies
- Confidently and effectively presenting information and proposals to clients
- Providing after sales services to ensure that clients’ expectations are delivered
- Providing constructive input for advertising strategies; and
- Identifying, assessing and managing business and revenue risks as they arise
- Directing client relationships with the local travel industry and media agencies in Perth
- Pitching both Print and Digital advertising solutions to clients
About you
- An understanding and keen interest in local business and news
- Ability to demonstrate a strong sales experience is highly regarded
- Strong Print advertising knowledge
- A desire to work collaboratively within a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with an ability to balance competing priorities and meet deadlines
- A confident Microsoft Office user
- Possess a current drivers’ license
