About you:
To be successful you will need to have:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (Software Engineering etc.) and/or equivalent relevant experience (preferably within the defence industry)
- Strong development/scripting skills in common languages like PowerShell, VBA, JAVA, PERL, C++.
- Sound knowledge of test management/tool software (e.g. HP,ALM, IBM,Rational Quality Manager).
- Limited experience supporting manual and/or automated testing infrastructure and related Test Environments.
- Strong ability to investigate, diagnose and resolve Information and Communications Technology (ICT) technical issues.

Your responsibilities will include:
Located in Williamtown, NSW.
As the Aerospace ATE Software Engineer, you will be working in a team whose primary role is to verify and validate candidate changes to an operational Logistics Information System supporting the Australian Joint Strike Fighter aircraft. You will be responsible for assisting with designing, developing and maintaining a capability to execute ATE test scripts and applications and verify the resulting outcomes. This ATE supports Australia's fifth generation of war fighting aircraft and is used extensively to verify and validate key technical outcomes that support the Australian Defence Force operational mission.
