We are currently seeking an After-Hours On-Call Officer to take on a key role in the delivery of our after-hours support services. This role supports our support workers and clients who require emergency supports or issues to be addressed. Job Description
With this role, you can be flexible in where you work from, as you will be supported by a company-provided mobile phone and laptop. You will only be required to work when an emergency occurs that requires action. It operates on a week on/week off basis. On-call is operational between 5pm to 7am on weekdays, then from 5pm Friday to 7am Monday, covering the weekend. There will be training provided by Rostering staff, and you will be supported by Management as you learn the role. Your initial training will take place at our Support Centre in Mile End. This is a casual role and may require office hours to be completed (to fill in staffing requirements) Assured Home Care After-Hours is available to support emergencies, such as: Support Workers unable to attend shifts - the After Hours On-Call Officer would need to contact other staff to replace the shift Support Workers running late to shifts – The After Hours On-Call Officer will need to be communicate this to clients/other staff Reporting significant issues relating to clients or staff (injuries, immediate risk etc.) to Management Assured Home Care value the support our On-Call Officers play in our organisation. You will receive an on-call allowance and remote work payment for each weekly period in accordance with the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Award. Desired Skills and Experience
