What you'll do:As an
Agribusiness Manager based in Emerald, you will play a pivotal role in managing Agribusiness relationships. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include developing and managing a diverse portfolio that covers various sectors such as beef cattle, grains/cereals, and cotton. You will use your business development skills to provide financial advisory services and risk management solutions for our customers. Your understanding of our clients' unique businesses will enable you to make timely decisions and drive innovation. - Proactively manage Agribusiness relationships, providing fully integrated corporate solutions.
- Grow the portfolio through existing customer relationships, acquisition of new customers and expense management.
- Provide financial advisory services, fully integrated financial solutions, and risk management for customers.
- Understand our client's unique businesses, communicate effectively, make timely decisions, utilise strong commercial acumen, and drive innovation.
- Develop and manage a portfolio of pre-farmgate and post-farmgate local markets.
- Assess economic value and risk potential of new business.
- Educate customers about their business options and provide sound advice about risk and opportunities for growth.
- Proactively call on networks of contacts to help identify new business and referral opportunities.
