ABOUT THE APPRENTICESHIP:
As business continues to grow, Big Chill are seeking an enthusiastic Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Mechanic Apprentice! This is a great opportunity either if you are looking to kick start your career in the industry or if you are currently searching for a new employer (existing apprentice)
Your duties would include (but not limited to):
- Diagnose, service and repair all brands of air conditioning units
- Diagnose and repair faults with Polyaire zone control systems
- Help our installation team with replacement and new installations of split system, reverse cycle ducted and evaporative units
- Assist tradespeople with day-to-day task
- Working on roofs
This is a full-time apprenticeship.

Big Chill are seeking a hardworking person to join the team who has a passion for the industry and the drive to learn and is focused on gaining a Trade!
Experienced, pre-app's or existing apprentices are encouraged to apply, however, the right person is far more important!
All welcome to apply including school leavers, juniors and mature aged.
Ideal applicant:
- be able to work part of team
- open minded
- good communication skills
- team player
- physical fit due to nature of the apprenticeship
- For newbies with no pre-app, the ideal apprentice is a hands-on person, familiar with tools and/or has completed some physical trade related work at highschool
- No drivers license needed (if Mandurah-based), though will be an advantage
