We have an amazing opportunity for a part-time Allied Health Assistant to join our creative, multidisciplinary practice. We have a rising caseload of children, adults, youth, and families who require help, and we are searching for a highly driven AHA who enjoys working in Allied Health to assist them.
Role
You will perform general duties as directed by Allied Health professionals in order to offer Macare Health participants with effective and timely services. You will be expected to work flexibly across all disciplines, including occupational therapy, speech pathology, and physiotherapy, providing therapeutic interventions and completing correct and timely client documentation. Competency-based training will be offered as needed.
In order to be successful in this position you must be or have the following:
- Certificate/Qualification in Allied Health Assistance
- Outstanding communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.
- Capability and readiness to advance the Allied Health Assistant job
- Experience in Allied Health and/or Community Health sector
- Valid Working with Children Check, National Police Check, and NDIS Worker Check.
- Drivers licence
- Flexibility to travel to different locations as required
