We are looking for a Grade 2Allied Health Assistant to join our team, offering you the chance to be part of a dynamic healthcare environment dedicated to improving the quality of life for our clients. This role will primarily work with Dietetics but will have exposure to the wider Allied Health range of services.
The position:
In this role, you will work across a variety of Allied Health disciplines to provide clinical support and direct therapy services for clients that promotes, maintains and assist recovery and independence in all aspects of daily living. Besides Dietetics, other areas you will work with include Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Social Work, Physiotherapy and Podiatry. Under the direction of an Allied Health professional, key tasks will include providing clinical care to patients in individual or group settings, using screening tools to gather information, documenting client progress and managing supplies and equipment.

Key criteria required:
- Allied Health Assistant qualification- minimum Certificate lll.
- A demonstrated flexible approach to service delivery with a willingness to undertake a range of clinical and non-clinical duties.
- An understanding of the physical and psychological aspects of rehabilitation care and the ability to treat, empathise with and provide person centred care to individuals with a range of abilities.
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
