Job description

LiveBig is a specialist multidisciplinary Allied Health team providing therapy and assessment services for people with disability. We provide services at home and in the community and operate in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, & Brisbane. We need an amazing person to join us in Townsville!

WHAT ROLE WE ARE OFFERING

The Allied Health Assistant (AHA) delivers therapy services within the National Disability Insurance Scheme or other disability-based markets, under the guidance of qualified health professionals. This work is undertaken within the relevant skills and experience of the AHA, whilst adhering to the relevant legislative or client service delivery standards/expectations. It is a half clinically-facing, half admin support role - perfect blend of an entry point into clinical development whilst not being overwhelmed with clinical responsibilities. You can be based anywhere in Melbourne- we have work right across the city! 

Responsibilities 

  • Support Clinicians to maintain a specified caseload
  • Adherence to internal processes including the Service Delivery and MyLiveBig Procedure
  • Files are managed within expected standards, ensuring customer centricity in all of our services
  • Adherence & compliance to NDIS Practice Standards & Quality Indicators
  • Compliance with LiveBig systems, policies, and procedures

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • REQUIRED - Certificate III/IV in Allied Health Assistance OR currently more than halfway through a speech pathology degree/masters
  • A passion for working with people with a disability - we love what we do and only hire staff who have that same drive
  • Experience working within the NDIS is desirable
