ABOUT THE POSITION:Join the St Vincent’s Private Hospital Brisbane team as Allied Health Assistant in our Allied Health department at our spectacular Kangaroo Point location. This is a casual position, working variable hours per week and will be pivotal in providing assistance in therapy activities prescribed by Allied Health Clinicians.
You will bring your passion to the position where you will work with our patients to support their prescribed activities to improve function and independence. A snapshot of your duties would include:
- Assistance in patient transfers and mobility
- Supervision and encouragement in the completion of prescribed activities in the therapy gyms and on the wards
- Set up and cleaning of therapy spaces/equipment
- Supervision of exercise programs as prescribed by Allied Health clinicians
- Assistance in hydrotherapy sessions
