About the role:
This rewarding role will see you facilitate excellent patient care under the supervision of a qualified TACP Allied Health Practitioner.
In this role daily tasks are varied and include assisting the TACP team with administrative duties and implementation of treatment programs for clients. You will work as a valued member of the multi-disciplinary team aiming to increase and maximise our client’s level of independence.
Where you’ll be working:
- TACP provides a multidisciplinary in-home rehabilitation program to clients after an acute hospital admission. The team consists of Nursing, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Podiatry, Dietetics, and Social Work combined with a full complement of community support services. - In this role you will be supported by the TACP Program Manager, Allied Health Service Manager, and committed staff to assist your development and success within the role.
Requirements:Our successful candidate will possess the following:
- Demonstrated experience as an Allied Health Assistant or willing to learn with/or working towards a Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance.
- Eligibility to drive in NSW and the ability and willingness to travel for work purposes which may involve driving long distances.
About you:
- You will be resourceful, results-driven and an experienced Allied Health Assistant who can work autonomously in the community and within a larger team.
- You will have excellent time management and prioritisation skills to handle the workload, meet deadlines and complete work activities.
- You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive rapport with clients.
- You will also have intermediate-level computer skills and thrive while working effectively in a busy environment.

- An eligibility list will be created for future permanent part time and temporary part time vacancies.
