Prahran Foot Clinic is seeking an enthusiastic team member to join our well-established, busy podiatry clinic in the bustling Chapel Street Precinct.

This role will suit those who have a passion for providing excellent customer service, the ability to problem solve, pay attention to detail and like a role where you can show initiative.
Previous experience as an Allied Health, medical or specialist receptionist is highly desirable but not essential.
The role offers an interesting array of duties including:
- Meeting, greeting and identifying a diverse group of patients
- Managing the electronic appointment book on our practice management software
- Handling all general enquiries about the services we offer
- Invoicing, billing & receipting
- Managing stock items as well as placing stock orders
- Sterilising of podiatry instruments (training provided)
- Maintaining a clean work environment
- Assisting the podiatrists as required
Key Criteria:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent rapport building skills, ability to calmly deal with all members of the community
- A good, clear telephone manner is essential
- The ability to follow set procedures and the attention to detail and self discipline to ensure task completion
- Ability to plan and prioritise your workload
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and see each through to completion
- Strong computer skills with Apple Mac experience preferred
- Familiarity with Google Workspace suite
- Work within a team environment and independently as required
- Accountability, respectful and calm in the face of work pressures
- Conscientious and highly motivated
- Experience using practice management software, in particular PracSuite
- Previous experience in Allied Health with EFTPOS/HICAPS/Tyro terminal use essential
Job training will be provided to the successful applicant and there is the opportunity for progression for someone who can grow the role and take on extra responsibility.
