About the Role

We seek a motivated and organised individual to join our team in a hybrid dual-capacity role within our NeuroJunior Allied Health team as a Receptionist and First Steps Coordinator. In this integral role, you will play a vital part in ensuring a positive experience for our clients and their families while coordinating the intake of new NeuroJunior clients. This an exciting opportunity for an experienced Receptionist looking to take on the next challenges and development in their career!
At NeuroRehab, our Reception Team is considered the HEART of NRAHN - Highly Efficient Approachable Reception Team!
We're looking for someone with full-time availability working four days from 8.45 am - 6:00 pm and one day from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm. There are some requirements to travel to other clinics for training and other duties as required. The pay rate will be based on the Health Professionals and Support Services Award 2020, support services level 6 category at $28.53/hr.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greeting and creating a friendly atmosphere for clients and families, ensuring all visits to our facilities are positive ones
- Enabling and encouraging communication directly with our clients
- Communications with children, parents and care teams
- Managing First Steps assessment bookings and waitlist
- Preparation of and following up on Service Agreement documents with NDIS participants
Skills & Experience
- Experience in allied health, medical reception or administration advantageous
- An understanding of the NDIS system is highly advantageous
- Clear, patient and friendly communication style
- Experience communicating with people with a disability
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Computer literacy
- Great multi-tasker
Requirements
- Documentation and administration tasks.
- Greeting and creating a friendly, positive, motivating atmosphere for clients.
- Managing phone enquiries and bookings.
- Responding to email requests from our therapy team.
- Occasionally assisting therapists directly.
- Invoicing and account payments.
- Opening and closing procedures.
- Basic practice housekeeping and COVID-19 cleaning compliance tasks.
- 3 doses of COVID-19 vaccinations.
Successful candidates are required to undertake a Police Check, Working With Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening check before commencement and are required to disclose any pre-existing injury or illness that may be adversely affected by undertaking the position.
