The Role
An opportunity has become available for two Clinical Neuropsychologists – Senior (Paediatrics) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Provide high level clinical neuropsychology services, including intake and triage
- High level knowledge and clinical skills in utilising evidence based neuropsychological assessment and interventions
- Participate in the design, implementation and evaluation of group programs for complex orders
- Utilise clinical judgement with minimum supervision in developing and implementing appropriate treatments
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
- Tertiary degree in Psychology
- AHPRA Registration
- Clinical Neuropsychology qualification obtained through an Australian Psychology Accreditation approved program
- Area of Practice Endorsement in Clinical Neuropsychology
- Drivers Licence
- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
- Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary
- Permanent part time and temporary full time (one permanent part time position 45.60 hours per fortnight and one temporary full time position, 12 months with the possibility of extension)
- Base salary ranging from $124 435 - $133 901 per annum or $62.75 - $67.53 per hour
